A quilted cover that goes over the made bed and keeps the day off the bedding underneath.
Most of what a bed has to put up with arrives on top of it. Paws after a walk, a toddler with a drink, the dog that has decided the foot of the bed is theirs. This sits over the quilt as the top layer, so the sheets and doona beneath stay as they are and the cover is the one thing that needs a wash.
It is built in three layers. A soft polyester face with a raised phoenix tail quilting pattern, a polyester fibre fill for a little body, and a TPU waterproof backing underneath that stops spills soaking through. The layers are quilted ultrasonically rather than sewn, and the edges are bound so it sits neatly at the sides of the bed.
Off the bed it works just as well over a sofa or laid out as a picnic rug.

132 x 210cm suits the top of a single or king single. 173 x 210cm is the one for a double or queen. 210 x 210cm covers a queen or king with a little drape, and 210 x 260cm goes over a king or works as an oversized throw. Very close, but each piece carries its own character. Handcrafted ceramics, natural timber and woven fibres vary slightly in tone, grain and texture, so no two are identical.
How do I care for it?
Timber and ceramic pieces wipe clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth. Textiles follow the care note in the specifications above, generally a gentle cold machine wash for covers and throws. Woven baskets are best kept out of prolonged damp.
What exactly is included?
Everything included is listed in the specifications above. Cushions are supplied as covers only unless stated otherwise, vases are sold without stems, and baskets are sold without plants or liners.
How do I style it?
These pieces are made to sit together. Ceramics and trays work in odd numbers on a shelf or console, throws look best loosely draped rather than folded, and baskets earn their place in a corner where they can be seen as much as used.
How is it packed for delivery?
Every piece is inspected before it leaves us and packed with protection around any ceramic or glass components, then shipped with tracking. If anything arrives damaged, email us a photo and we will sort it out.
