Quick Dry Diatom Bath Mat

A fabric bath mat soaks up water and then stays damp for the rest of the day. This one is made from PU leather with a marble print, so water beads on the surface instead of soaking in. Wipe it with a cloth and the mat is dry in moments.

That quick drying is the whole point. Nothing is held inside the mat, so there is nothing to stay wet, go musty or need a wash cycle. It is worth being clear about what that means though: the mat dries fast because it does not absorb, so it will not pull water off your feet the way a towelling mat does.

At 60 by 40 centimetres it suits the front of a vanity, beside a shower, or a laundry bench. It is heat resistant, so it does the same job on a kitchen counter under a pot or a kettle.
