A natural coir mat with a dense, stiff pile that actually takes dirt off shoes.

Coir is coconut husk fibre, and it is stiff in a way synthetic mats are not. The bristles work into the tread of a shoe and lift out grit rather than letting it track across the floor behind you. That is the whole job of a doormat, and most of them do it badly.

The pile is tight and dense so it holds its shape underfoot, and the edges are bound so they do not fray after a season of being walked on.

The natural tone sits against timber, tile, brick and concrete without trying to match anything, which is what you want at an entrance.

Note: Coir is a natural fibre and lasts longest under cover. Prolonged direct rain and sun will fade and soften the pile over time.
